GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE 

INTRODUCTION 

By using this website and/or our services through the online registration procedure for English language testing (written or oral) on the official website of "Educational Centre" Ltd at www.educationalcentre.al and ​www.educationalcentre.amo.al, you agree to be bound by these terms of use. Please read them thoroughly to understand the content of these terms, and if you do not fully agree with these terms, please do not use our services. 

DEFINITIONS 

  • Service Request: Refers to the online registration of the candidate on the official website of the Testing Centre, ​www.educationalcenter.amo.al, for the purchase of testing services offered by the Centre, confirmed electronically via email for this registration. 
  • Candidate: Refers to the individual requesting the service for the completion of a written/oral English language test who uses the website ​www.educationalcenter.amo.al to select one of the tests published by the Centre to participate in the testing procedure offered by the Testing Centre and consents to electronic communication. 
  • Testing Centre: Refers to the service provider for the English language testing procedure (written and oral) based on standards approved by Cambridge, as described on the website ​www.educationalcenter.amo.al. Under this agreement, "Educational Centre" Ltd is the Testing Centre in its capacity as an Authorized Testing Centre by Cambridge, "The Chancellor, Masters, and Scholars of the University of Cambridge," through the Department of "Cambridge University Press and Assessment" (Cambridge). 

SERVICES: 

"Educational Centre" Ltd, with NUIS No. J62215003J, operating at Rruga Leonard Frroku, Zone Kadastrale 3866, Property No. 305/93, Tirana, represented by administrator Brunilda Muçollari, in its capacity as an Authorized Testing Centre by Cambridge, "The Chancellor, Masters, and Scholars of the University of Cambridge," through the "Cambridge University Press and Assessment" department, offers written and oral English language testing services authorized by Cambridge, in compliance with their standards and regulations for offering these tests. For this purpose, the Testing Centre has published the types and descriptions of the specifications for each of the authorized English language tests on the website, as follows: 

  1. Pre A1 Starters, A1 Movers, A2 Flyers 
  2. A2 Key and A2 Key for Schools 
  3. B1 Preliminary and B1 Preliminary for Schools 
  4. B2 First and B2 First for Schools 
  5. C1 Advanced 
  6. C2 Proficiency 

"Educational Centre" Ltd offers this service in its capacity as a Testing Centre once it has received the candidate's request for this service. The process for requesting this service involves the online registration procedure as instructed on the website and completion of the relevant form for this purpose, which is finalized by the full online payment of the selected service by the Candidate. 

1. Service Request 

A service request is made by registering online on the website ​www.educationalcenter.amo.al and completing the payment based on the type of test selected by the Candidate. The registration is completed by filling in the required information on the website (email, phone number, postal address, zip code, personal identification number) and concludes with the confirmation of the service request via email. With the confirmation of registration via email, a service contract is considered concluded, in accordance with Article 676 of the Civil Code of the Republic of Albania. 

2. Protection of Personal Data Privacy 

Educational Centre undertakes to protect and use personal information (name, surname, valid identification document, email address, phone number, personal identification number, bank card details, etc.) provided in the online registration form solely for the purpose of fulfilling the service contract with the candidate and for legitimate purposes such as preparing statistical, analytical, and reporting documents for the authorized testing authority, etc., in accordance with all legal standards and regulations for the protection and privacy of personal data. By registering for a test, you consent to the verification of the aforementioned personal data in the context of fulfilling the service request and processing it for study, statistical, and reporting purposes with the authorized testing entity. 

3. Intellectual Property 

The texts, graphics, images, logos, videos, and program codes are the property of "Educational Centre" Ltd and may not be used without its prior consent. By making a service request, the Candidate does not acquire any intellectual property rights. The use, copying, reproduction, distribution, modification, or creation of derivative works from the content on the website www.educationalcenter.amo.al is prohibited without the written consent of Educational Centre Ltd. 

4. Payment Terms and Non-Refund Clause 

By registering on the website ​www.educationalcenter.amo.al, the Candidate requests and pays in advance for the selected service provided by the Testing Centre and agrees to participate in the testing procedure on the specified date, time, and according to the rules outlined by the Testing Centre and published online. The Testing Centre, in turn, commits to providing the requested service as per the registration form. Failure to attend the scheduled test procedure, for which the candidate has registered and made an advance payment, is non-refundable, regardless of the reason for non-attendance.The payment is non-refundable even in cases where the Testing Center informs the Candidate in advance about the postponement of the testing date due to objective reasons related to this postponement. The only exception to the non-refund clause is if the Testing Centre fails to provide the paid service, in which case it undertakes to refund the payment made by the Candidate. 

5. Declaration on Acceptance of the Payment Clause 

By accepting the "Terms of Use," the Candidate is presumed to have understood and accepted that the payment made for the requested service is non-refundable and agrees to this clause as part of the binding agreement. 

6. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction 

The applicable law for the interpretation and enforcement of the terms of this agreement is Albanian civil legislation, and the competent court is the First Instance Court of Tirana. 

7. Final Provisions 

Educational Centre Ltd reserves the right to change the data on the website at any time without notice, as per its decision-making process. These changes will be communicated via the website. Continued use of our services after changes are made is considered acceptance of those changes.
